QUByte Interactive is delving into 1990s nostalgia with its latest lineup of QUByte Classics. The company is releasing modern ports of a bunch of games including GloverIron Commando, Legend, Legend of Wukong, Stone Protectors, and Brave Battle Saga: The Legend of The Magic Warrior and the Visco Collection bundle (the latter of which isn’t under the QUByte Classics umbrella).

QUByte announced the games as its QUByte Connect event. Every title was announced for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. No specific release dates were announced, but everything but Glover (which had no window attached to it) was marked for 2023.

Glover is a platformer that first released on the Nintendo 64 in 1998.

Legend of Wukong is an RPG that first came out on the Genesis in 1996 only in China. It’s loosely based on Chinese fantasy novel Journey to the West.

Iron Commando is a beat ’em up that came out on the SNES in Japan 1995. Sony was supposed to publish the game in Europe but quit publishing third-party games in order to focus on the original PlayStation.

Legend is a beat ’em up that first came out in 1994 on the SNES. Legend is releasing together with Iron Commando as a part of Beat ‘Em Up Archives, which makes sense since they were both developed by Arcade Zone.

Stone Protectors did not get a trailer, but it is a beat ’em up that released on the SNES in 1994 and is based on the animated series from the early 1990s.
