Second Dinner’s card battler Marvel Snap is almost out on October 18 on mobile platforms and PC, and the team released another trailer for the title, showing off some more of its numerous villains and heroes.

The newest trailer doesn’t give away much, given how much gameplay the team has already released, but fans of card battling titles like Hearthstone should recognize the layout of the cards, with its three zone cards that take up the middle of the arena and its character cards that are played underneath.
Similar to other collectible card games, players will have to take each other on with a pre-built deck of cards. Players will have 12 cards at a time in their deck and the game itself will launch with 150 cards, which will grow over time. Cards will also have variants of one another, complete with different art styles, giving players more to collect as well.
Second Dinner’s history in the card battling scene is well-known, as the studio was formed by ex-Blizzard Entertainment developers Ben Brode and Hamilton Chu, both of whom worked heavily on Blizzard’s highly popular Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft card game. XCOM developer Firaxis Games is also working on a card-based Marvel game with Midnight Suns, which is set to release on December 2, 2022.
