Gundam Evolution Release Date Revealed

Gundam Evolution Release Date Revealed for Free Hero Shooter

After a fair bit of teasing, Gundam Evolution, Bandai Namco’s Gundam free-to-play hero shooter in the vein of Overwatch, now has its release dates. “Dates” is plural because the title is coming out on PC a bit earlier on September 21. Those on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S will need to wait until November 30 to play with this new shooter. Both dates are one day later in European and Asian territories.

Evolution is launching with 12 heroes, all with their own moves and weapons. Players can engage in six-on-six matches across three objective-based modes: Point Capture, Domination, and Destruction. Bandai Namco also released two more videos for the game. The first goes over the general game and acts as a sort of mission briefing.

The second video shows the content players can expect for the game’s first season.

Gundam Evolution has been a long time coming. After initially being announced for PC players in Japan in 2021, the game was later revealed for consoles and other territories in March 2022. Bandai Namco has held several network tests in the months since, too.
