Sony has come out and not only revealed the September 2022 lineup for PlayStation Plus Essential members, but also what those subscribed to the two higher tiers will get, too. And unlike August, Premium subscribers will be able to play more classic games from older generations.

PlayStation Plus Essential September 2022 Lineup
As was shown in the recent leak, PlayStation Plus Essential members will be getting Need for Speed Heat, Granblue Fantasy: Versus, and Toem and they will be redeemable from September 6 to October 3.
Need for Speed Heat is the 2019 entry in the long-running racing series and released to average reviews. Electronic Arts is also working on another Need for Speed but has yet to formally reveal it. Gameplay, however, has leaked out.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a fighting game from Arc System Works, the team best known for its BlazBlue series and Dragon Ball FighterZ. This PS4 game is based on a mobile RPG and while the fighter was acclaimed, it was prematurely stifled because it released in the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and lacked proper rollback netcode.
Toem is the lone PlayStation 5 title of the bunch and is a wholesome photography-focused game. It’s a calm, bite-sized adventure that has an average score of 80.
