Disney and Marvel have plenty of games on the horizon, so it’s only natural to hold a showcase for them. Disney announced that it was holding such an event on September 9 at 1 p.m. PT during this year’s D23. It will have “reveals, announcements, and trailers” for a slew of upcoming titles.

As noted by Disney, Dreamlight Valley, Midnight Suns, and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will all be there. While the former two haven’t been released just yet and still have plenty to show, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga came out in April and all of its DLC wrapped up the following month. It’s possible more DLC will be announced for that Lego game but TT Games hasn’t hinted at what the announcement could be.
The show will also have at least one sneak peek at a new game, as Skydance New Media’s new ensemble Marvel title is on the docket. This new studio is being led Amy Hennig, who was crucial in the development of the first three Uncharted entries over at Naughty Dog. The “narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure game” was announced in October 2021 and while the reveal was vague, users started guessing that it would be a Fantastic Four game, especially given the comments by Kevin Smith. The new “ensemble” part of this press release hints at that, too, but nothing has been confirmed.

Skydance is also working on a Star Wars game, but that game was not mentioned. Insomniac Games’ Wolverine and Spider-Man 2 were also missing from the press release.
