Yuke’s, the studio behind many of the WWE 2K games, has been working on its AEW title, AEW: Fight Forever, for a few years and has slowly been revealing more about the game. The studio recently released a short teaser that was pointing to a grander reveal next week, but Xbox has seemingly accidentally uploaded the gameplay trailer in full.

As captured by user Bucks2lit on Twitter, the gameplay trailer starts out with real-life footage of commentator Tony Schiavone and wrestler Britt Baker. The two then sit down and “play” AEW: Fight Forever, which shows some wrestling gameplay as well as a look at its different off-the-wall minigames like a home run derby-like event and some sort of button matching sequence.

The Steam page has even more information about the game. It’ll have online co-op, tag team matches, a “deep career” mode, wrestler customization, daily and weekly challenges, over 40 weapons, and “signature AEW arenas” and modes like Casino Battle Royale, Falls Count Anywhere, Unsanctioned Lights Out, and Exploding Barbed Wire. The teaser image does show CM Punk, Kenny Omega, Britt Baker, Chris Jericho, Jade Cargill, and Jon Moxley, but the full roster was not listed.
The leaked trailer said the game is coming “soon” but did not specify a window. It will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC for $59.99, though.

The full trailer was initially scheduled to be part of THQ Nordic’s showcase on August 12 before Xbox uploaded it early. The stream will undoubtedly have more surprises in store, but it now it will just have one less.
