The latest DLC character to join the roster for My Hero One’s Justice 2 has been revealed, and it’s none other than Yuga Aoyama. He was officially revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine (via Anime News Network). No official release date was revealed as of yet, but Aoyama will make his way into the game as the fifth and final character of the game’s season pass, which have previously given fans access to playable versions of Shinso Hitoshi, Present Mic, Kurogiri, and Midnight.

In the My Hero Academia manga and anime, Yuga Aoyama — or Shining Hero: Can’t Stop Twinkling, as he’s sometimes known — is a student in Class 1-A at the U.A. High School, and trains with the main cast of the series to become a Pro Hero. Early on in the series, Aoyama was revealed to be a traitor to the U.A. High School, having helped the League of Villains. However, during the Final Act Saga of the series, Aoyama broke away from the group, and helped the heroes defeat All For One.
Aoyama is a bit of a special case in the world of My Hero Academia, as he doesn’t have many incredible abilities outside of his special Quirk, Navel Laser. The Quirk gives Aoyama the ability to shoot a powerful sparkling laser cannon from his navel. The beam is so powerful that it can blast through fully concrete buildings. This will likely appear in My Hero One’s Justice 2.
My Hero One’s Justice 2 launched last year with 40 playable characters featuring fan favorites like Deku, Katsuki, and All Might. Since then, it’s added six new characters through DLC, including Hawks, Mei Hatsume, Itsuka Kendo, Tesutetsu Tetsutetsu, Gentle Criminal and La Brava, and Hitoshi Shino. It also brought several characters that the first entry did not have, like Lemillion, Overhaul, and Grape Juice.
