The date was shared in a new producer update for the game, hosted by Kazumasa Habu, who is, fitting, the producer on the title. In the video, Habu apologized for the delayed information on the game before confirming the release date. He also said that the company is planning more “exciting news” to share with fans in the future. You can check out the full announcement for the release date of Digimon Survive below:
Digimon Survive was first announced in July 2018, and was initially set to release last year before being delayed. The game is set to deliver a bit of a spin on past Digimon game entries, as Survive will merge the worlds of visual novels and turn-based strategy RPG games to deliver what looks to be a game more closely related to the anime than anything that’s been released in the past. The game follows the story of protagonist Takua Momozuka as he’s randomly transported to a world inhabited by Digimon, leading to a wild adventure filled with the iconic monsters.

Despite being announced four years ago, not too much of Digimon Survive is known to the public. A brief teaser trailer for the game was released last month, but it’s unknown just how much has changed in the nearly four years of development time that has passed since its announcement.
