Sonic Origins, a compilation title featuring some of the biggest and most popular retro Sonic the Hedgehog games, was announced in May 2021, but has stayed in the shadows since. However, a new piece of artwork and a rating in South Korea hint that the game could be coming soon.

Earlier on Monday, the PC version of Sonic Origins was spotted on the ratings website for South Korea, noting that it was suitable for all users. However, shortly after that, new key art for the game also popped up, with the images reportedly being leaked on PlayStation Network, as shown by a Sonic fan Twitter account called TailsChannel.
Check out the new Sonic Origins key art below:
Originally announced in 2021, Sonic Origins is set to include Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD on the “latest platforms.” Previously, it was claimed that a new collection would launch that would contain remasters of both the original Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic 2, using Christian Whitehead’s Star Engine, formerly known as Retro Engine, since the collection is in widescreen (including Sonic 3).

Sega has been silent on the bundle, but the rating and art imply that a release date (or an announcement of one) is somewhat imminent.
