Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is supposed to get DLC, but Team Ninja was pretty secretive about what that season pass would hold. Producer Tetsuya Nomura finally gave some details about the expansions will be, which seemed to be geared toward those who have finished the campaign and people who have a fondness for the first game in the series.
As transcribed by Siliconera, Nomura told Famitsu that at least one of the DLC packs will take place after the end of the game and include the Warrior of Light. Given the ending, players are likely to fight the heroes from the first Final Fantasy. Nomura also said that the DLC will add new weapons to the game and that the final boss will be unpredictable.
The three pieces of DLC are called Trials of the Dragon King, Wanderer of the Rift, and Different Future. Some are theorizing that Trials of the Dragon King will include a fight against Bahamut, a Final Fantasy staple, while others think that Wanderer of the Rift will revolve around Gilgamesh, another Final Fantasy staple. Players can’t currently buy the season pass, but it is included in the $89.99 deluxe edition. These pieces of DLC also still have no release date.
