Hogwarts Legacy seemingly put on the Cloak of Invisibility after its official reveal in September 2020 since very little information came out about it after its debut trailer. Avalanche Software is now finally preparing to take off said magical cloak, as the company announced that the game would be getting its very own PlayStation-branded State of Play stream on March 17 at 2 p.m. PT.

Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games revealed this on the PlayStation Blog. The 20-minute show will have 14 minutes of gameplay captured from a PlayStation 5 and some words from some of developers at Avalanche. A follow-up post on the Blog will also have more information. Warner Bros. did not give any sort of release window, but Warner Media Chief Executive Officer Jason Kilar did recently reiterate that the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC game was coming in 2022.

Some thought that Hogwarts Legacy would be included in the most recent State of Play. However, much like Final Fantasy XVI and the rumored Resident Evil 4 remake, it didn’t make an appearance.
This RPG will take place at Hogwarts in the late 1800s as students will choose their own Hogwarts House and attend a various amount of classes. Other areas will be explorable, too, like the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade village. There will also be different sorts of spells, potions, and combat abilities as well as mortality and player customization systems.
