Warner Bros. has announced the Gotham Knights release date for the upcoming brawler.

Gotham Knights is set to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Previously only having a vague 2022 release date, the upcoming action game will now release on October 25, 2022. It’s a big addition to gaming’s busiest release window as the fall and holiday months are packed with big releases.

Taking place after the death of Bruce Wayne, the game allows players to play as Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin (Tim Drake), and Red Hood. The WB Games Montréal developed game will feature a two-player cooperative mode and will have role-playing game elements, such as being able to level up their characters. The open world will also feature vehicles allowing characters to explore Gotham City at a quick pace.
Considering recent reports have stated that the other high-profile upcoming DC game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, has been delayed out of 2022, it’s good to see that comic book fans will still have something to play this year.
