Kojima Productions and 505 Games recently confirmed the news during CES 2022, noting that the game will launch simultaneously on both the Epic Games Store and Steam sometime in spring 2022. The PC version of Death Stranding Director’s Cut will incorporate Intel’s new Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) graphics technology for what 505 and Kojima Productions call an “enhanced experience” for players on the PC.
“We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Intel for Death Stranding Director’s Cut on PC. Death Stranding has been a hugely popular game with PC players and we’re excited to see how Intel’s new XeSS technology will enhance player experiences for Director’s Cut,” said Neil Ralley, President of 505 Games.

The Director’s Cut also features crossover content from both Half-Life and Cyberpunk 2077 in the form of new cosmetic items.
