The hit 2018 game God of War launched as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. However, it will be making its way to the PC world next year on January 14 and Sony has released a new trailer for it that details some more of the port’s features.

The trailer specifically aims to highlight many of the features that will be found in the PC version of the game, including the ability to play the game at true 4K resolution with unlocked framerates for some stunning gameplay, both of which have already been revealed.
Alongside the obvious graphical improvements like more detailed shadows and screen space reflections that were finally shown in this trailer, the PC version of God of War will also see gameplay improvements in the form of Nvidia’s Reflex support, allowing for low latency gameplay that makes the game more responsive. Of course, this sits on the top of the other features in the trailer that Sony has already announced like ultra-wide monitor support and support for multiple controllers and input devices.

Sony has already begun putting some of its first-party games on PC and even acquired a new studio to presumably help with such ports in the future (although there was no mention of Nixxes on the game’s Steam page). Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone also went to the PC in 2020 and 2021, respectively. But at the moment, God of War: Ragnarok has not been confirmed for PC. It’s unknown if and when any more PlayStation exclusives will begin making their way to the PC, but it does seem as if Sony is slowly beginning to allow for more people to experience its games.
