Netflix has been looking to push into the world of video games over the past few years, and today marks another big step in that journey, as the streaming platform has released new mobile games out to subscribers in a handful of countries.

Three new gaming titles have hit the service (via TechCrunch), all of them aimed at the more casual gaming experience. Shooting Hoops, Teeter Up, and Card Blast are all available now to Netflix members in Spain, Italy, and Poland.
Players in those countries looking to check out the games can find them inside of a new “Games” tab inside the Netflix app, where players will then have to download and install the games through the Google Play Store. Logging in and playing the game will require your Netflix information, though, so make sure to have that on hand if you plan on diving into the titles.
The move comes as Netflix continues to try and make a name for itself in the video game world. Yesterday, the company made an even bigger splash, announcing that it had acquired Oxenfree developer Night School Studio.

“We view gaming as another content category for us, similar to our expansion into original films, animation, and unscripted TV,” Netflix said in a shareholder letter sent out in July 2021. “Since we are nearly a decade into our push into original programming, we think the time is right to learn more about how our members value games.”
