The PlayStation Plus September 2021 lineup has finally been revealed and it features the three vastly different games that were prematurely leaked in a report from last week. The three PS+ September 2021 games are Predator: Hunting Grounds, Hitman 2, and Overcooked: All You Can Eat. All three will be available from September 7 to October 4.
Predator: Hunting Grounds is the asymmetrical multiplayer game that originally released in April 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Four soldiers must complete a variety of different objectives while being hunted by a Yautja. Predators naturally have a different suite of abilities and, for the most part, must play strategically and pick off the humans while they are distracted.
The game is still getting both paid and free DLC and more is on the way. Illfonic just recently talked more about the newly released Cleopatra DLC that gives the Predator some Egyptian-based armor, which goes alongside the other culturally specific sets like the Viking, samurai, and Valkyrie DLC packs that have been added since launch. Past DLC has included two versions of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Dutch, football player Marshawn Lynch, and Isabelle from 2010’s Predators. And while it is a PS4 game, it does run significantly better on PS5 through backwards compatibility as long as players manually unlock the frame rate in the options menu.
Hitman 2 is the second PS4 game. This Hitman title isn’t the newest entry in the series as Hitman 3 came out in January 2021, but it still contains many intricate fan-favorite levels that are sandboxes full of murderous opportunities. Players should be able to use this as a way to unlock the Hitman 2 levels in Hitman 3 and if they also redeemed the 2016 reboot when it was on PlayStation Plus in February 2019, they should be able to import both games into Hitman 3.
This trilogy ender acts as a launcher for each game in the trilogy, as long as they also redeem the access packs on the PlayStation Store. These levels support improvements made in Hitman 3 so it might be the best way for players to experience Hitman, especially if playing on PS5.

Overcooked: All You Can Eat is the newest game of the trio and the PS5 entry of the bunch. This culinary cooperative game allows up to four players to hop in a variety of different kitchens to cook and bake an absolutely staggering amount of dishes. This version contains both visually overhauled versions of Overcooked and Overcooked 2 as well as each of the many, many free and paid expansions all of the games have gotten so far. Ghost Town Games is also still adding free content to the game, as evidenced by the recent birthday update. It’s a ton of content and given the easy-to-learn concept and wealth of accessibility options, almost anyone can jump in and play one of the most well-received co-op titles out there.
But this doesn’t apply to the PS4 version of Overcooked since only the PS5 one is on PlayStation Plus. However, users without a PS5 can still redeem the PS5 version by going to the web store or mobile app.
