Xbox announced on Tuesday that cloud gaming is coming to both the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One platforms this holiday. However, the console maker did not provide a more specific date.

According to the announcement, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to play more than 100 games right from the cloud, giving console players a new way to experience some of their favorite titles or, as was repeatedly emphasized in the trailer, more easily discover new ones. Xbox also announced that current-gen titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator and The Medium will also be available on the Xbox One via the cloud, with that feature set to arrive in the future.
Xbox plans on testing the experience as part of the Xbox Insider program this fall, in order to gather some feedback on it before launching it sometime after that. In order to make sure the highest quality experience is set, Xbox will support up to 1080p and 60 frames per second just like Xbox Cloud Gaming does on PC, mobile devices, and tablets. Google Stadia hit controversy over its 4K claim so it makes sense that Xbox is avoiding that for now.

The full list of games playable from the cloud on console can be found on Xbox’s site, and Xbox’s blog the Xbox Wire will be updated when more information on just when players will be able to dive into cloud gaming.
