Annapurna Interactive has released a brand new trailer ahead of the upcoming release of Twelve Minutes.

In the final trailer before the game’s launch on Thursday, August 19, we’re treated to more of the mysterious circumstances of the game, which revolve around the character living through the same day over and over.

“Twelve Minutes is a real-time top-down interactive thriller with an accessible click and drag interface,” reads the synopsis for the game, “Featuring James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Dafoe. What should be a romantic evening with your wife turns into a nightmare when a police detective breaks into your home, accuses your wife of murder and beats you to death. Only for you to find yourself immediately returned to the exact moment you opened the front door, stuck in a twelve-minute time loop, doomed to relive the same terror again and again.”

Twelve Minutes will launch on Thursday, August 19, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at its launch, giving players who subscribe to the streaming service the chance to dive into the latest narrative experience.
