Arcade1Up from Tastemakers announced on Tuesday that a brand-new classic arcade machine is in the works, this time featuring one of the more iconic arcade games of the ’90s.

The company announced that its latest home arcade machine will feature The Simpsons arcade game, one of the more memorable and fan-favorite games of the ’90s arcade scene. Just like fans remember, players will be able to take on the role of Homer, Marge, Bart, and Lisa, and take on swarms of Springfield’s wide cast of inventively ludicrous characters.
According to their announcement, some of the features included in Arcade1Up’s will include:
- 2 Games in 1: The home arcade machine comes with The Simpsons Arcade Game and a bonus game slated to be announced during pre-orders this summer.
- Expansive Player Access: Up to four simultaneous players can experience endless animation-inspired fun and remote play with the Live feature.
- Retro Authentic Artwork: True to the original arcade machine, this custom-shaped machine and matching riser design with lit marquee is the perfect conversation piece for any room in the home and even offices with its stunningly vibrant graphics.
- Easy Assembly: Once the arcade machine is plugged in at home, players can follow the in-game setting menu and on-screen game selections. No coins required!

Pre-orders for The Simpsons home arcade machine begin on Monday, August 16, 2021 over on Arcade1Up’s website. No information on price has been unveiled just yet, but if it’s anything like other Arcade1Up home arcades, fans can expect the machine to run anywhere from $400 to $700.
