The 2D pixel art Metroidvania title took the gaming world by storm in 2015, with its incredible art style and multitude of weaponry and places to explore making it a smash hit. In a recent PlayStation Blog post, Happ spoke about how the folks at Sony were so instrumental in getting the word out about the first game, he felt that he owed it to them to bring the sequel to both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
According to Happ, Axiom Verge 2 will launch on PlayStation 4 day one, but a PS5 version of the game may be coming a bit later, as Happ said he’s hoping to take advantage of the system’s ability to give players in-game hints.
