Rockstar’s best-selling open-world crime game Grand Theft Auto V and a standalone version of its fan-favorite multiplayer mode, GTA Online, are coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. GTAV will launch on both consoles on November 11, 2021. However, the standalone version of GTA Online is exclusive to PlayStation Plus for three months.

“As an added bonus — this summer’s updates to GTA Online will include special benefits for players to take advantage of in these expanded and enhanced versions when they drop,” Rockstar said on its official site. “[These versions will] feature a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the console’s powerful new hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever.”
With the standalone version of Grand Theft Auto Online coming out, there also comes an opportunity to get a million dollars in GTA cash each month up until release.
“This new standalone version of GTA Online will be available for free exclusively to PlayStation 5 players during the first three months,” reveals Rockstar.”And PlayStation Plus members on PlayStation 4, make sure to claim your GTA$1,000,000 by visiting the PlayStation Store at the start of each month — every month until the launch of GTA Online on PlayStation 5.”

Rockstar also teased a Grand Theft Auto III announcement in the near future.
“Plus, in honor of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the genre-defining Grand Theft Auto III, we’ll have even more fun surprises to share — including some specifically for GTA Online players.”
