We’re just two weeks away from the release of Batman: Arkham Origins, which will see eight of the deadliest assassins coming after Batman on Christmas Eve. Five of these assassins have been revealed so far and Warner Bros. Games Montreal revealed the sixth one tonight: Electrocutioner! The character was created in 1992 by Chuck Dixon, Tom Lyle and Scott Hanna and has an electrified suit with which he can shock, stun, and kill his opponents. He’ll be voiced by Steven Blum, who previously voiced Wolverine in this year’s Deadpool video game.
WB Games Montreal also announced at their NYCC panel that NetherRealm Studios, the same company behind the Batman: Arkham City Lockdown and the Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile games, will be bringing Batman: Arkham Origins to iOS platforms later this year. They also announced that players who sync their mobile account with their console will unlock a Superman: Red Son skin for Batman in the game! Check out a trailer for the mobile game below and let us know what you think of the additional assassin in the comments.
Batman: Arkham Origins will be available for the Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 25, 2013.
