Halloween 4 Confirmed for Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights

He’s one of the most iconic villains in history and now Michael Myers is coming to terrify Orlando parkgoers at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights. The theme park announced Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers will appear at the annual event where fans will be dropped right in the middle of Michael Myers’ path, where he is on his way to eradicating his niece. He takes out everyone in his way…and you’ll be right in the middle of the action. Try your best to escape the bloodbath – not even Loomis, Myers’ psychiatrist, can save you.

The 1988 slasher, which has received a cult following in the 30 years since its release, followed the titular antagonist as he escaped from his prison transfer after discovering Laurie Strode, who died in a car crash, had a daughter named Jamie Lloyd and travels back to Haddonfield in an attempt to kill her.

The film was the first of many sequels to see Myers return to the franchise following franchise creator John Carpenter’s original idea to feature an anthology format with the third film, only for it to be a financial disappointment after the first two films in the franchise focused on Myers. The Return of Michael Myers also saw the introduction of scream queen Danielle Harris, who would appear in the fifth entry of the franchise and both entries into the Rob Zombie reboot series.

Parkgoers can look forward to The Return of Michael Myers from September 14 to November 3 at Universal Orlando Resort to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film and tickets for the event can be bought on Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights’ official website.
