People magazine has named Thor and Avengers star Chris Hemsworth their new Sexiest Man Alive! His fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Idris Elba (Thor films) also made the cover, which you can see below.
Hemsworth (31), father of three, said he thought it was “pretty funny” when he first heard the news – as did his wife, Spanish model, Elsa Pataky, 38. “I think you’ve bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house,” the actor said. “I can just say to her, ‘Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don’t need to do the dishes anymore, I don’t need to change nappies. I’m above that. I’ve made it now.'”
Hemsworth has a busy 2015 ahead of him with Avengers: Age of Ultron, blackhat, In the Heart of the Sea and Vacation all hitting theaters.
