Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara will perform at the 76th Academy Awards ceremony, telecast producer Joe Roth announced today. This will be the first time either has made an Oscar show appearance.
Levy and O’Hara will perform the Original Song nominee “A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow” from A Mighty Wind, which was written by Michael McKean and Annette O’Toole. Levy and O’Hara, who starred in A Mighty Wind, performed the song in the film.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2003 will be presented on February 29, 2004, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 p.m. (PST) with a half-hour arrivals segment.
