Sandler’s ranking on the list is in large part thanks to his four-film, $250 million deal signed in 2014, with the streamer paying the actor $31 million this year as part of his overall deal. Netflix users have reportedly streamed more than 2 billion hours of Sandler’s work on the streamer, resulting in a new deal signed in January that is rumored to be worth more than the initial one.

Additionally, Netflix paid out a combined $545.5 million to the top-earning actors in 2020’s Top 10 list. A chunk of Johnson’s earnings, for example, came from a $23.5 million paycheck for his role in the upcoming film Red Notice, co-starring Reynolds. The streaming giant paid out a combined $85 million this year to Reynolds, Mark Wahlberg, Ben Affleck, and Vin Diesel.
