This 3-disc set includes all 16 episodes from Seasons 3 and 4, with special guest appearances by ‘Jackass’ cohorts Johnny Knoxville, Wee-Man, Loomis Fall, and predatory animal expert Manny Puig, and surprise cameos by David Hasselhoff, Method Man, Tony Hawk, Mat Hoffman, Three 6 Mafia, Juvenile, Roger Alan Wade, Bob Burnquist and members of Cash Money Crew. The Wildboyz – two stumbling steps behind the evolutionary curve or the next great leap for all mankind? You be the judge.”

Mini-Review:
This is yet another MTV series that I had never heard of. The best way to describe it is “Jackass – International”. Steve-O (who sounds suspiciously like Harvey Fierstein now) and Chris Pontius from the original “Jackass” TV series travel around the world doing stupid stunts. They usually feature local animals or bizarre customs from their host countries. In seasons 3 and 4 they visit Russia, Thailand, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Kenya, India and Indonesia. They do a lot of the same stupid stunts like having animals bite them, making themselves throw up on camera, and hurting each other. What’s weird is that it’s borderline educational. You see a lot of locations and customs you’d typically expect to see on the Discovery Channel. (I can just imagine an idiot teenager getting a test question right because of something he remembered seeing on Wildboyz. Bill and Ted live on.) There are also a lot of guests on the show including Johnny Knoxville, David Hasselhoff, Tony Hawk, some of the Jackass guys, Method Man, and more. If you liked “Jackass,” then this is definitely something you’ll want to check out.
There’s a pretty good selection of bonus features on this DVD. There are a number of commentaries, outtakes, bonus segments, and more. You’ll also find a couple of featurettes including Top 10 Widlboyz moments and a sort of ‘making of’ special entitled Wildboyz “Over & Out”.
