The upcoming business C-drama City of the City is all set to meet viewers on April 9, 2024. It features Bai Yu Fan, Yu He Wei, Xia Meng, Long Ni, Lawrence Wang, and Feng Jia Yi in the lead roles. It is an adaptation of the novel “Cheng Zhong Zhi Cheng” by Teng Xiao Lan. The C-drama tells the story of Tao Wu Ji (Bai Yu Fan), a man from a small town. He starts his employment journey from the lowest level at a bank. But because of his diligence and determination, the vice president of the branch, Zhao Hui (Yu He Wei), notices him and recruits him for a special project.
Zhao Hui can see the younger version of himself in Tao Wu Ji and decides to mentor him. With his meticulousness and Zhao Hui’s guidance, Tao Wu Ji advances his career very quickly. But things start to get complicated when Zhao Hui has a downfall after making terrible mistakes. It threatens everything he has worked hard to cultivate.
