The ongoing romantic C-drama Everyone Loves Me, starring Lin Yi and Zhou Ye, aired episode 19 on March 14, 2024. The episode primarily focuses on Gu Xun (Lin Yi) finally confessing to Qian Ling (Zhou Yr). Gu Xun’s friend, Jiang Jun Nan (Jiang Yi Ming), says that the fortune-teller app gives pretty accurate predictions. Gu Xun thinks that Jun Nan is being superstitious. When he checks for Gu Xun’s fortune, it says it is the perfect day to confess to his crush. Gu Xun decides not to delay it any longer and to go for it.
Gu Xun and Qian Ling reach home together; Gu Xun asks her to go upstairs and sit in his apartment. Qian Ling gets excited, thinking Gu Xun must have planned something big for her. She is happy thinking Gu Xun is finally going to confess to her.
But Gu Xun’s plans get rained on as he receives an urgent call from the office. Qian Ling misunderstands the situation completely. She regrets getting her hopes up once again. Gu Xun calls her to let her know about the severe situation. An NPC, Lin, of the game they have developed has received a copyright strike.

There is a plagiarism allegation against Gu Xun’s team. He assures Stella that no copying is involved, but he cannot find any solution. He comes home upset and completely drained. Qian Ling gives him a hug to cheer him up.
Gu Xun had designed Lin with his father. But there is no proof of that since his father passed away a long time ago. Gu Xun’s superiors at the company pressured him to sell the game. Gu Xun tries to convince them to give him some time. But they are not ready to listen to him. The whole situation frustrates Gu Xun.
Everyone Loves Me episode 19 shows Gu Xun completely distancing himself from his colleagues. He does not even return home that night. Qian Ling can not reach him and worries for him. She calls Gu Xun’s childhood friend and discovers his secret hiding spot.
Qian Ling takes the overnight train and finally finds him. She gets angry and yells at Gu Xun for leaving the team behind. She tells him how much she is fond of him and almost confesses to having feelings for him.
Gu Xun turns around and is surprised to see her there. He had earphones on, and he did not hear anything she said. As Qian Ling turns to leave, Gu Xun stops her. He finally tells her honestly how he feels. Qian Ling reminds him that he had turned her down, saying she is not his type. Gu Xun apologizes for his past behavior. He tells her that he does not know that the girl he falls in love with is Qian Ling herself. The couple shares a soulful hug.
