The ongoing romantic C-drama Everyone Loves Me, starring Lin Yi and Zhou Ye, aired episode 18 on March 14, 2024. A developer of a fortune-telling app insists Qian Ling try the app. The result says that she will be getting a confession within three days. Both Su Zheng and Gu Xun want to be the first ones to confess to Qian Ling. Qian Ling is very excited, thinking that Gu Xun will be the one to ask her out.
On her way home, Su Zheng surprises Qian Ling with flowers and asks her to marry him. Qian Ling does not want to give him a harsh rejection as she knows how it feels when someone does not acknowledge one’s true feelings. She carefully turns him down and promises to stay friends with him for a long time. Su Zheng does not want to give up on her.
Gu Xun sees from afar as Qian Ling and Su Zheng share a hug. He regrets not being the first one to confess to her. Gu Xun shares this with his friend, who advises him not to waste any more time and tell her how he feels.
