The upcoming Xianxia C-drama The Legend of Shen Li is all set to meet viewers on March 18, 2024. The drama features popular actors Zhao Liying and Lin Gengxin in the leading roles.
It is an adaptation of the novel “Yu Feng Xing” by Jiu Lu Fei Xiang. The Legend of Shen Li is a romantic fantasy drama that tells the story of Xing Zhi (Lin Gengxin), the last surviving deity. He lives alone, without giving in to any sort of emotions or desires. When a war between the Gods and the demons breaks out, he fights all by himself.
Hundreds of years later, Shen Li (Zhao Liying), the demon lord, is born. After her family conspires to marry her off for political allegiance, she runs away. Unfortunately, she is turned into a phoenix and falls into the human realm. A vendor mistakes her for a chicken and puts her in a cage. When she loses all hope of survival, she catches the eye of Xing Zhi.

The Legend of Shen Li is scheduled to release 39 episodes, which will air all seven days of the week. The drama will be available to stream on Tencent Video, We TV, MGTV, and Viki.
