The upcoming historical romance C-drama Ye Cheng Season 2 has updated viewers with the cast details. It is the sequel of Ye Cheng or Ye Cheng Fu, which came out in 2023. The original broadcasting network of the drama is Sohu TV. Season 2 of the show is currently in production and is expected to debut soon.
Jia Ze & Yuan Hao to lead Ye Cheng Season 2 cast
On March 8, 2024, the drama team released an official statement that revealed the cast details of the drama. Jia Ze and Yuan Hao will play the leading roles in this season of the drama. Jia Ze previously appeared in Tea of Destiny, The Truth of Scent, My Girlfriend Is an Alien Season 2, The Wolf Princess, etc.
Yuan Hao is well-known for his roles in The Romance of Hua Rong Seasons 1 & 2, Desire Zoo, The Evidence Tells, etc. Other than the lead actors, Peng Yaqi, Li Zhehao, and others will appear in pivotal roles in the drama.

The drama’s first season is set in the women-centric capital of Great Chu. Shu Cheng (Jia Ze) is a terrific fighter capable of going against the Emperor. When an assassin attacks Shu Cheng, Shen Ye comes to her rescue.
As time passes, Shu Cheng learns that Shen Ye has loved her for many years. Together, they try to restore order in a disorderly world.
