The ongoing thriller C-drama White Cat Legend released episode 18 on February 28, 2024. The series follows the genres of mystery, fantasy, and adventure. It features Ding Yuxi, Zhou Qi, Ding Jiawen, and Zhang Yicong in the leading roles. Wang Wei has directed it, and the original broadcasting network of the drama is iQIYI. White Cat Legend is a period drama set in the Tang Dynasty. It tells the story of Li Bing (Ding Yuxi). The Express appoints him as the Assistant Minister of the Dali temple after she recognizes his worth at a night banquet. Following his leadership, a group of temple members allies to uphold justice in the kingdom. They work hard to solve crimes and bring peace to the people of the kingdom.
In episode 18 of White Cat Legend, Li Bing and the other members of the Court of Judicial Review search for Cui Bei (Ding Jiawen). They visit Mr. Yuan, who reads Cui Bei’s fortune. They find out that the fortune teller told Cui Bei about his inauspicious influence on the people in his life. His words anger Li Bing, and he threatens to close his business.

The fortune teller reveals that Bei felt particularly anxious on the day of Qing Ming and asked for a solution. Thus, Mr. Yuan advised him to stay away from crowds and go to a place that is overflown with yin, like a mountain.
Soon after, Li Bing returns to the Mingjing Hall and starts to look for any clue that could be left behind by Cui Bei. Additionally, they go through his letter once again. Meanwhile, one of the members recalls that Cui Bei disappeared in the previous year as well on the day of Qing Ming. They come to the conclusion that Cui Bei must be hiding in the Tianchi Mountains. In the meantime, Li Bing receives an order to go after a fugitive hiding in the same mountains.
In episode 18 of White Cat Legend, Cui Bei stays at a Taoist Temple and looks for effective ways to dispel his bad luck. He agrees to perform a ritual prescribed by the temple owner. But when it doesn’t bring the desired results, he wonders if it failed because he does not have enough money for offerings. Meanwhile, a strange man arrives at the temple looking for a place to stay, and kind-hearted Cui Bei lets him in.
Meanwhile, Li Bing and other members endure many distresses while looking for Cui Bei. They are hungry, sleep-deprived, and are even chased by a swarm of bees. Cui Bei is surprised when he sees that his teammates have come looking for him.
Cui Bei opens up about the hardships he endured since he was a child. He lost both his parents at a very young age. People have taunted him, saying that he brings bad luck. The members get emotional hearing his story. Li Bing assures him by saying that Cui Bei is calm, composed, and has a unique ability to assess every situation. The members of the Court of Judicial Review share a bond that exceeds their professional relationship.
