Amidst a Snowstorm of Love is an adaptation of the web novel “Zai Bao Xue Shi Fen” by Mo Bao Fei Bao. Tien Jen Huang and Yu Bo are the directors of the drama. It tells the story of Lin Yiyeng (Leo Wu), a former professional snooker player and Yin Guo (Zhao Jinmai), a professional nine-ball player. The duo met for the first time during a blizzard. Shy and introverted Yiyeng falls for Yin Guo at first sight. As they continue to meet, they fall in love and become each other’s motivation.
In episode 18 of Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, Lin Lin (Ding Xiaoing) teases Yiyeng. She asks him if he is nervous about meeting his future mother-in-law. Yiyeng answers that he has prepared well. He asks her if she has made up with Meng Xiaodong (Wang Xing Yue). She mentions that they broke up a long time ago and she does not plan on being with him again. Yin Guo’s mother also says that it’s okay to defend Yiyeng in private but Yin Guo should not meddle in such affairs at the bureau or assemblies.
