Toho International has unveiled a brand new My Hero Academia: You’re Next trailer for the upcoming U.S. theatrical release of the latest installment to the My Hero Academia film series. It is based on the popular manga created by Kōhei Horikoshi.
“In a society where heroes and villains continuously battle in the name of peace and chaos, Deku, a U.A. High School student who aspires to be the best hero he can be, confronts the villain who imitates the hero he’s long admired,” reads the synopsis. “Can Deku and the rest of U.A. High Class 1-A protect the world by putting an end to Dark Might, the man claiming to be the new Symbol of Peace?”

When is the My Hero Academia: You’re Next release date?
Following its Japanese premiere on August 2, My Hero Academia: You’re Next is scheduled to arrive in U.S. and Canada theaters starting on October 11. The anime film is directed by Tensai Okamura from a screenplay written by Yōsuke Kuroda. It features the voices of Daiki Yamashita as Deku, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Bakugo/Dynamight, Yuki Kaji as Shoto Todoroki, Ayane Sakura as Uravity, Kaito Ishikawa as Ingenium, Marina Inoue as Creati, Toshiki Masuda as Red Riot, Eri Kitamura as Pinky, Aoi Yūki as Froppy, Ryō Hirohashi as Grape Juice, Tasuku Hatanaka as Chargebolt, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Tsukuyomi, Kei Shindō as Earphone Jack, Kiyotaka Furushima as Cellophane, Kenta Miyake as All Might, Tetsu Inada as Endeavor, and more.
Its Japanese theatrical debut comes ahead of the twelfth episode premiere of My Hero Academia Season 7, titled “Those Who Defend, Those Who Violate,” which will air on August 3. At the moment, the first eleven episodes of the anime’s current season are now available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The series chronicles his journey to becoming the number one, while facing grave threats from the League of Villains and All Might’s nemesis All-For-One.
