Netflix has released the first official trailer for Record of Ragnarok II, the second season of the Record of Ragnarok anime that first premiered in 2021.

Episodes 1-10 of Season 2 will premiere on January 26, 2023, while episodes 11-15 will debut at a later date in 2023.
“Humanity’s greatest heroes battle the gods for the survival of the human race,” reads the series’ synopsis. “Once every millennium, the gods assemble to decide if humanity is worthy of its continued existence or if it should be destroyed! When the verdict is destruction, the final battle between the gods and mortal heroes will decide the survival or extinction of the human race-a battle known as Ragnarok!”

Record of Ragnarok II is based on the manga Record of Ragnarok, which was written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika. The first Season was made up of 12 episodes, which premiered on Netflix on June 17, 2021. Episodes 1-10 of Season 2 will premiere on January 26, 2023, while episodes 11-15 will debut at a later date in 2023.
