Chainsaw Man Trailer Reveals English & Japanese Voice Cast

Crunchyroll released two trailers for the highly-anticipated anime Chainsaw Man and announced the English and Japanese voice casts.

The first of the two trailers is in Japanese and features new footage of Mappa’s upcoming anime adaptation, which is set to release its first episode on October 11. The series will be comprised of 12 episodes, each of which will release weekly from October 11 onwards.

The second trailer features the English dub cast for Chainsaw Man, giving viewers their first impression of how the English language cast will sound. You can check out the Chainsaw Man English dub trailer below:

The announced English cast so far is as follows:

  • Ryan Colt Levy as Denji
  • Suzie Yeung as Makima
  • Reagan Murdock as Aki
  • Sarah Wiedenheft as Power

Meanwhile, Crunchyroll also revealed more Japanese voice actors who will be part of the series. The complete Japanese cast thus far is as follows:

  • Kikunosuke Toya as Denji
  • Shiori Izawa as as Pochita
  • Tomori Kusunoki as Makima
  • Shogo Sakata as Aki Hayakawa
  • Fairouz Ai as Power
  • Mariya Ise as Himeno
  • Karin Takahashi as Kobeni Higashiyama
  • Taku Yashiro as Hirokazu Arai
  • Kenjiro Tsuda as Kishibe

“Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita,” reads the series’ synopsis. “Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as ‘Chainsaw Man’ — a man with a devil’s heart.”

Chainsaw Man was created by Tatsuki Fujimoto and was originally serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump between 2018 and 2020. Part 2 of the series began this past July, and is being published through Shueisha’s online Shonen Jump+ magazine.
