Sony Pictures has released a comical clip from the upcoming live-action The Way of the Househusband movie that is based on the manga of the same name. In the video, the titular househusband, Tatsu, has to ask the head of a local real estate company, Kondō, for neighborhood association fees. Kondō proceeds to act like a mafia boss, shooting off Italian phrases throughout the conversation.

Set to open in Japan on June 3, The Way of the Househusband: The Movie has actors from the live-action series reprising their roles, like Hiroshi Tamaki as Tatsu, Haruna Kawaguchi as Miku, and Jun Shison as Masa. Series director Tōichirō Rutō is also returning.
“A former yakuza legend leaves it all behind to become your everyday househusband,” reads the official synopsis. “But it’s not easy to walk away from the gangster life, and what should be mundane household tasks are anything but! He was the fiercest member of the yakuza, a man who left countless underworld legends in his wake. They called him ‘the Immortal Dragon.’ But one day he walked away from it all to walk another path—the path of the househusband! The curtain rises on this cozy yakuza comedy.”

An anime adaptation of The Way of the Househusband is currently available to stream on Netflix.
