Tower of God season 2 episode 5 recap
Tower of God season 2 episode 5 begins with Khun having a flashback to when Bam was still with him and thanking him for being his ally. Back in the present, Khun tries to recruit Edin Dan to join his team. However, he refuses to join but offers his services as a scout. Khun then challenges him to a contest. If he wins, he will join his team; if not, he will get a gem worth billions.
While Dan initially seems to have the advantage, Khun outsmarts and defeats him easily, thanks to his speed. The latter returns to his base and meets Rachel, who tells him she is dreaming of Bam. The episode then goes on to reveal that her injury is fake and that she can walk. However, Khun is aware of this but decides to say nothing.
Meanwhile, the members of Khun’s team battle to decide their ranking. Later, Khun meets with his team and tells them his plans to take the family head title from his father. He gives his team the sole mission to protect Rachel while they climb. However, he warns them not to get too attached to her. The episode ends with Yihwa following Viole as he meets Hwa Ryun.
