Episode 5 shows Kuze returning home after dropping Alya off. While walking back, he ponders Alya’s confession and tries to figure out if she meant it. However, he recalls his parents’ fight in the past and decides love is a fickle emotion.
Upon arriving, he meets Yuki, who has set a trap for him in his room. She continuously teases her brother and calls him a pervert. After hearing he would support Alya in the next election, she becomes happy knowing he is motivated. However, she also gets sad about not being responsible for it. The next day, Alya eagerly waits for Kuze to enter the class. As he arrives, she immediately notices that the aura around him seems different and feels attracted to it.
During gym, he gets hit by the ball, and she goes to check if he is alright. While Kuze appreciates the gesture, he is shocked by her obsessive kindness. However, after a run-in with Masha, she learns the reason for his calm demeanor is his peaceful sleep. She immediately becomes bothered that he can sleep peacefully while the previous night’s events continue to bother her. Later, Kuze asks Alya to accompany him to the student council office, and she agrees. The episode ends with Kuze about to introduce himself to the student council.
