Kaiju No. 8 chapter 111 recap
Kaiju No. 8 chapter 111, “As destruction itself wills it…!” is an action-packed installment that begins with Kafka manifesting the Mysterious Larva. He unleashes his formidable, frantic self, which he had used in his fight against Isao Shinomiya, prepared to fight No. 9.
A flashback reveals Kafka approaching Gen Narumi and requesting his help in training him. He further requests that he help him control his transformation, given how effective it was while fighting General Shinomiya. Although Narumi initially yells at him, he agrees to help the titular protagonist.
The chapter returns to the present, where Kafka’s beast mode puzzles everyone, including Mina and No. 9. Mina attempts to stop him but realizes he cannot be stopped. Hence, she decides to help him by covering for him.
As Kafka reiterates he only has a minute, his fight against No. 9 begins. No. 9 realizes Kafka is a monster who aims at killing other monsters. With forty seconds passed, Kafka unleashes his Neo Whirlwind attack and asks Mina to cover fire. As such, the installment ends with Mina taking a position to launch her attack.
