Rick casually explains the monsters always stay away from the area. Upon entering the castle, Reanette warmly welcomes Laurotte. However, Alicerette arrives and offhandedly casts a level-six spell. Fortunately, Rick protects Laurotte from the explosion and scolds Alicerette for casting magic inside the castle.
While strolling around the castle, Laurotte encounters Mizett working on his new weapon. After exchanging pleasantries, Mizett makes Laurotte try his weapon, the “Ultra Flamecannon-kun Number 6, Patricia, Revised.” As Laurotte pulls the trigger, the weapon causes a huge explosion, leaving him dazed.
Laurotte eventually sees Broughston reading in his huge library. Broughston explains how being surrounded by books and reading calms him, but he has been busy with Rick’s training lately.
This prompts Laurotte to request the orc for a lesson, which he agrees with. As such, Laurotte’s harsh training commences with him almost losing his life as he slips down a slope with heavy weights tied to him.
Fortunately, Reanette’s intervention saves him. Later, Rick warns Laurotte never to believe in Broughston when he claims he will engage in “a little light training.”

The episode shifts to Orichalcum Fist arriving at a guild to take on a quest. With a local adventurer, Rei’s help, they go on the adventure. Rei underestimates the party and confidently barges into the forest, following Rick, Broughston, and Alicerette.
The party easily defeats the wyvern monsters, stunning Rei. When a red wyvern appears before Rei and Rick, the former refuses to run, standing by Yamato’s principles. Rick easily defeats the monster alone. Their feat excites Rei, who is preparing to appear for the E-rank exam.
Orichalcum Fist examines one of the Six Jewels, Crimson Blossom, which they found deep within the wyverns’ lair. Mizette casts a level six Nature Composed Magic, Earth Mapping, to locate the rest of the Six Jewels. They are led to Heractopia, famous for its colosseum.
