My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 4 recap
The episode introduces the student council at school – Nekoyamada, the vice president; Tanukikaji, the secretary; and Tsubemeya, the accountant. They are all led by Koshi Torako, the student council president. Koshi tries to get along with the rest of them. However, it is revealed that Nekoyamada has plans to steal her position and disband the deer club.
Tanukikaji’s shyness puts Koshi in a tight spot, but she manages to calm her down. Meanwhile, Tsubemeya’s cold responses make Koshi feel awkward. The next day, Koshi arrives at the deer club and is shocked to see Tsubemeya. Koshi starts to panic as she believes her secret could be revealed.
She tries to tell her about the club activities, but Nokotan shows her a video of Koshi singing to a deer. Nokotan then gives her a bunch of deer crackers, and Koshi is shocked to see her happy about it. Koshi tries to win over Tsubemeya’s affection but fails horribly. Later, Koshi decides to help Tanukikaji sort out supplies in the gym.
However, they get locked in by accident. Tanukikaji starts to panic as her imagination runs wild, and Koshi struggles to calm her down. However, Nokotan enters the room and reveals she wants to check on her mushrooms. The episode ends with Tanukikaji and Tsubemeya eating with the rest of the deer club members.
