Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World season 2 episode 3 recap
The latest episode starts with Iska’s team and Sisbell learning of the attack on the queen. The latter tells the group that she can identify the culprit if she can get to the palace. However, Jin deduces that the assassin won’t try to kill the queen again but will come for Sisbell instead. Meanwhile, Alice gets a call from her mother asking if she has found Sisbell, but she keeps it hidden since there could be a possible traitor.
Sisbell and the group wait to hear back from her Shuvalts, who went to the palace. However, an explosion is detonated just a distance away from their location. Sisbell tries to figure out the culprit, which allows the assailant to find her. Later, it is revealed that the assailant is Vichyssoise from House Hydra, who led the investigation in the palace. She shows her monster form and charges straight for Sisbell, but Iska intercepts her. He tells everyone to run away while he deals with her.
Meanwhile, Alice arrives at the battleground and meets a soldier who tells her he knows Sisbell’s location. Alice figures out it’s a trap and incapacitates her. Iska tells Vichyssoise that he has no plans of losing to an astral mage and uses his second sword to defeat her. Rin then takes Vichyssoise’s body while Iska goes to join his team. The episode ends with Iska promising to take Sisbell back to the palace safely.
