Failure Frame episode 4 recap
Failure Frame episode 4 starts with Mimori arriving at Mills City as a mercenary. However, he is stunned by the citizens’ carefree attitude. After going for a walk to gather information, he meets some men at the bar discussing the situation about the knights and decides to listen in.
Later, Mimori returns to his room and plans to join the raid to gather materials to strengthen Piggymaru. He gathers with the rest of the mercenaries and learns the quest is for the cup of the Dragon Eye. Mimori then joins the line to register as a participant and hears Droghetti harassing a woman, claiming she is Seras Ashrain.
However, the girl denies his claims and proves she is not an elf before introducing herself as Mist Bercas. Droghetti flees the scene, promising to take revenge on her. Mimori warns her to be careful as he looks spiteful. They enter the ruins the next day, and Mimori defeats the monsters before proceeding with the plan. In the meantime, Droghetti schemes with some men to harass and kill Mist.
However, Mimori hears their plans and kills them instead. He arrives in a room and obtains the cup. When Mist arrives, he gives her the cup and informs her it wasn’t his main objective. She pays him back by offering to escort him to the lower levels. After casting a sleep spell on her to help her rest, he discovers she is actually Seras Ashrain. The episode ends with Civit Garland tracking Seras’ whereabouts.
