Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3 recap

Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3, “Adaptation,” focuses on Ruby asking about Aqua’s whereabouts, after which the scene switches to Aqua and Akane’s theater date. During the play, Aqua learns about the circular stage. Talking to Raida convinces him that Abiko would not know how to write a script for such a play. Hence, he decides to meet with Kichijouji and ask her to talk to Abiko about reassigning GOA his role as the play’s scriptwriter.

However, Kichijouji says she understands Abiko’s feelings after Sweet Today’s adaptation turned out to be disastrous. She thus refuses to talk to Abiko about not writing the script but agrees to pass a circular stage play ticket from Aqua.

Kichijouji visits Abiko to find the Tokyo Blade author in a mess. Fortunately, the two authors work together to help Abiko meet her deadline. However, they get into an argument while working, unraveling the brutality of the manga industry.

After submitting her chapter, Abiko apologizes for her harsh words. While sobbing she says she hated that her favorite manga, Sweet Today, got ruined through the adaptation. Kichijouji consoles her and hands her the stage play ticket from Aqua, prompting her to watch the play.
