The episode picks up from where the previous episode left off, with AFO capturing Hawks and injuring Jiro and Tokoyami. However, Jiro, who becomes angry at all the pain he has caused, attacks him. AFO tries to counter, but the stolen Quirks in his body start to go against him, paralyzing him in the process. Hawks and Tokoyami use that to destroy his mask. Although Hawks go in for the final blow, AFO breaks free and uses Black Rivets to catch Jiro and Tokoyami.

However, Endeavour arrives just in time and blocks his attack, sacrificing his arm. The Flame Hero continually strikes AFO, not giving him a chance to counter. Endeavour then lifts the villain to the sky and unleashes Prominence Burn. Meanwhile, the heroes struggle to deal with Shigaraki’s abnormal growth at the Sky Coffin.

Bakugo then decides to debut his new gear from the support class and starts to tear through Shigaraki. He approaches Shigaraki’s main body and uses his move, but the villain counters him. Shigaraki emerges from the smoke with Bakugo in his grasp and breaks the young Hero’s arm. The episode ends by showing Deku getting closer to the fight.
