A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero LV episode 1 & 2 recap
Episode 1 introduces the high school student Kaito Takagi, who also happens to be a dungeon explorer. However, he is frail, which results in him battling only slimes. Takagi successfully hunts 999 slimes and is on his way to 1000 slimes when he finds a golden slime and kills it, but the slime drops a rare servant card as a reward.
After leaving the dungeon, he inquires about the card and learns it could sell for a billion yen. He becomes conflicted over making the right decision and does not sell it. While in the dungeon, he summons Sylphy. Despite being shocked by her appearance initially, he finds out she is overpowered. Together, they defeat nearly all the slime in the dungeon and prepare for the second floor.
Episode 2 begins with Kaito finally venturing into the second floor for a chance to level up faster. He decides to battle the monsters without depending on Sylphy. However, despite facing a horrible start, he progresses as they make their way through the floor. He defeats a rare skeleton and obtains the core but feeds it to Sylphie as an act of gratitude.
However, after leaving the dungeon, he learns that the core would have sold for 2 million yen and mourns his loss. Kaito plans to go to the third floor but decides to get resources first. He then obtains another servant card for a devil named Lucrecia. The episode ends with him summoning her.
