On Tuesday, July 10, 2024, Netflix began streaming the second promotional trailer for Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You season 3. The trailer shows Shota Kazehaya and Sawako Kuronuma growing closer as they officially start dating. Additionally, it previews the famous first kiss scene, raising anticipation for the installment.
The trailer reveals the opening theme song for the anime, “Et cetera,” which is performed by imase. Furthermore, the official release date for the anime has been revealed.

Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You season 3 will air on Thursday, August 1, 2024. Netflix will stream the installment worldwide.
According to the anime’s official website, the upcoming season’s plot is as follows: “‘What should I do to date?’ Although confused by her growing feelings, Sawako confronts herself and tells Kazehaya how she feels. Kazehaya is drawn to Sawako, who works hard in secret and has a down-to-earth personality, and he doesn’t look away and tells her how he feels. This is where the new relationship between Sawako and Kazehaya begins.”
“First dates, becoming a lover, and spending student life together. Happy things, embarrassing things, and new worries. A love story about two people who, though innocent and awkward, slowly get to know each other, and their friends who begin to move forward. Kenichi Matsuzawa directs the anime at Production I.G, while Tomoko Konparu manages the scripts and co-writes it with Michiko Yokote. The anime’s voice cast includes the return of Mamiko Noto as Sawako Kuronuma and Daisuke Namikawa as Shota Kazehaya. Additionally, Miyuki Sawashiro voices Ayane Yano, Yūko Sanpei voices Chizuru Yoshida, and Yūichi Nakamura voices Ryū Sanada. Furthermore, the cast includes Mamoru Miyano as Kento Miura, Yūki Ono as Kazuichi Arai, and Aya Hirano as Ume Kurumizawa.
