Tower of God Chapter 629 recap
The chapter picks up where the previous one left off, with Traumerei using his disconnection technique. Gustang tells the protagonist how the technique fits his nasty personality. The chapter then shows a flashback of Traumerei showing the technique to Khun and Gustang.
Back in the present, Gustang focuses on dodging his attacks, knowing a single one could kill him. However, Traumerei doesn’t give him room to breathe as he follows up his attacks with his monsters. He traps Gustang with his technique and launches a barrage of attacks at his former friend.
Meanwhile, Endorsi and Enkidu try their best not to get caught up by the attack of the two family heads. Enkidu spots a mindless Hollen standing below and makes a deal with Endorsi. He promises to surrender her piece back to her if she helps him get Traumerei’s king from Hollen. Despite her initial reluctance, she agrees but plans to betray him. The chapter ends with both of them planning to betray each other to get the two kings.
